Ingredients:
- 6 large peaches, halved and pitted (approx. 1.2 kg)
- 6 tbsp (85g) unsalted butter, melted
- ½ cup (100g) packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp (1.5g) salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the peach halves cut-side up in a 9x13 inch baking dish, ensuring they aren't touching to allow heat to circulate.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until smooth. Spoon the mixture evenly over the center of each peach half, pushing some of the glaze down the sides for total coverage.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the peaches feel tender when pierced with a fork and the glaze is bubbling and mahogany-colored. Remove from the oven immediately once the syrup has thickened.
