Ingredients:

  • 6 medium fresh peaches, peeled and sliced (approx. 3 lbs)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir gently until evenly coated and let sit for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Pour the peach mixture into an ungreased 9x9 inch baking dish, spreading into an even layer.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together the Bisquick mix and milk until a smooth, thick batter forms.
  4. Fold in the melted butter until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Spoon the batter over the peaches in an even layer or in rustic dollops.
  6. Lightly sprinkle the top with granulated sugar.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45–50 minutes until the topping is deep golden brown and juices are bubbling.
