Ingredients:
- 6 medium fresh peaches, peeled and sliced (approx. 3 lbs)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cups Bisquick mix
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir gently until evenly coated and let sit for 5–10 minutes.
- Pour the peach mixture into an ungreased 9x9 inch baking dish, spreading into an even layer.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the Bisquick mix and milk until a smooth, thick batter forms.
- Fold in the melted butter until just combined; do not overmix.
- Spoon the batter over the peaches in an even layer or in rustic dollops.
- Lightly sprinkle the top with granulated sugar.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45–50 minutes until the topping is deep golden brown and juices are bubbling.
